Deakin University in Geelong is seeking two full-time, continuing Lecturers in Social Work within the School of Health and Social Development. You will lead unit teaching teams, contribute to curriculum design, and enhance student learning outcomes across UG and PG programs.
Successful candidates will hold a PhD or Master’s in a relevant field, be eligible for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers, and demonstrate an excellent record of teaching and scholarly activity.
The Faculty of Health is dedicated to being at the forefront of teaching, learning, creativity, social development, and groundbreaking research and discovery. We work closely with industry partners and government bodies to translate discoveries into real-word impact. This role will specifically be working within the School of Health and Social Development.
The Lecturer, in Social Work will lead unit teaching teams in UG and/or PG programs to deliver unit learning outcomes and continuously improve the student learning experience and outcomes. The appointee will promote the school and maintain links and partnerships with relevant academic, industry and professional communities and make an independent contribution to the school’s teaching, research, and program development.
