Job summary

CQUniversity, Australia, is seeking a Lecturer in Paramedicine to join our School of Health, Medical and Applied Sciences. The role focuses on designing and delivering learning across lectures, simulation and clinical activities, drawing on industry experience to support students on campus and in the field.

You will contribute to curriculum development, unit coordination, research and scholarship, with a strong emphasis on flexible delivery and collaboration with industry partners.

Qualifications

Completion of an undergraduate degree in Paramedicine, with postgraduate qualifications highly regarded.
Teaching qualification or willingness to complete a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching / Education.
Proven ability to contribute to curriculum development, writing and evaluation, particularly using flexible modes of delivery.
Experience teaching and supervising undergraduate and postgraduate students, across a range of learning environments.
Strong capacity to engage and collaborate effectively with industry partners, community stakeholders, and professional networks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to contribute positively to team culture and academic collaboration.
Experience in the development and delivery of low to high-fidelity clinical simulation (highly desirable).

Responsibilities

Design and deliver engaging learning experiences across lectures, simulation and clinical-focused activities.
Bring industry expertise into the classroom, support students on campus and in the field, and contribute to curriculum development, unit coordination, research and scholarship.
Through simulation, clinical learning and engaging teaching, help students build practical skills and confidence to succeed as paramedics.

Total Remuneration $138,968 to $161,953 pa (including salary of $117,430 to $136,853 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading)

CQUniversity is seeking a motivated Lecturer in Paramedicine to join our collaborative team and help shape the next generation of paramedics.

Our School of Health, Medical and Applied Sciences delivers in-demand qualifications in a supportive, research-led environment. The Bachelor of Paramedicine, accredited by the Paramedicine Board of Australia, provides students with a strong foundation for a career in paramedicine.

As a Lecturer, you will design and deliver engaging learning experiences across lectures, simulation and clinical-focused activities. Position Requirements
