Australian Catholic University – Canberra ACT is seeking a Lecturer in Nursing to deliver high‑quality education across undergraduate and postgraduate programs. You will develop and deliver lectures, tutorials and lab classes, contribute to curriculum development, and engage in scholarship of teaching and learning.

Based at the Canberra campus, you will supervise staff in your area, demonstrate leadership potential, and support governance and quality improvement within the School of Nursing,

About the role:

Operating within Nursing (Canberra), the Lecturer (Nursing) is accountable for high quality education and learning outcomes through the development, delivery and continuous improvement of lectures, tutorials and laboratory classes in core subjects in the discipline of Nursing at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The position will make significant contributions to teaching, curriculum development and the scholarship of teaching and research performance to support ACU students achieve their academic goals. The Lecturer will coordinate the activities of other staff, demonstrate potential for leadership within an area of academic activity and take an active role in the scholarship of teaching and learning through reflective practice. This role also supports the academic and administrative functions of the School of Nursing, Midwifery & Paramedicine including academic administration, quality improvement, risk management and/or governance.

Total remuneration valued to $142,635 - $168,287 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $120,529 - $142,305 (pro rata) pa (Academic Level B), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.

17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.

Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
