Job summary

The University of Melbourne invites applications for five education-focused academic roles in the Faculty of Business and Economics. These continuing, full-time positions (Level B) involve delivering undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, coordinating courses, and shaping curricula in management and marketing.

You will lead teaching teams, pursue pedagogical research, and engage with industry partners, supported by a welcoming, inclusive department and strong professional development

Qualifications

• Hold or near completion of a PhD in a relevant business or management discipline.
• Experience designing and delivering teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• Coordinate teaching administration including LMS, assessment and student communications.
• Lead teaching teams and contribute to teaching innovation and industry engagement.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver high-quality lectures, seminars and tutorials at undergraduate and postgraduate levels across business disciplines.
• Lead subject coordination, including teaching team leadership, LMS management, assessment processes, and resolution of student matters.
• Develop and evaluate contemporary curriculum, assessment tasks and resources aligned with pedagogical best practice.
• Undertake pedagogical research, publish findings and pursue funding for teaching innovation initiatives.
• Contribute to departmental leadership, service and industry engagement.
