Job summary

TAFE SA invites applications for Hourly Paid Instructors and full-time/ fixed-term Lecturer roles at the Regency campus on Kaurna Country. The role focuses on delivering quality training, assessment and guidance to students, with potential consultancy to industry and community clients.

Applicants should have 5+ years in surveying/spatial information, relevant Certificate III/IV Trade qualifications, and a commitment to attaining TAEs within 12 months. WWCC is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience with current knowledge of the surveying and spatial information industry.
• Relevant Certificate III and/or Certificate IV Trade qualifications and appropriate licenses
• An ability to demonstrate an understanding of educational and teaching methodologies within the framework and delivery of Surveying and Spatial Information training package qualifications.
• Ability to develop and design delivery and assessment material within the range of Surveying and Spatial Information qualification.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110/40116/40122) or commitment to acquiring within 12 months of employment

Responsibilities

• Provide a quality educational service of training, assessment, and guidance to students in accordance with relevant training package objectives.
• Lecturers may also be involved in the provision of consultancy services to industry/community clients.
