Job summary

UNSW is seeking a Lecturer for a teaching and research role in Electrical Energy Systems and Power Engineering at Kensington, Sydney. You will deliver teaching across undergrad and postgrad programs and supervise honours/postgrad projects while contributing to course administration.

You will undertake research advancing electrical energy systems, engage with industry and collaborators, and support equity, diversity and inclusion across disciplines.

Qualifications

• PhD in Electrical Engineering or related discipline with relevant work experience.
• Commitment to keeping up-to-date discipline knowledge and developments.
• Experience in teaching and learning design, curriculum development and delivery at undergrad/postgrad levels.
• Demonstrated track record in power systems research with high impact outcomes.
• Evidence of research excellence and potential for leadership in research.
• Experience using educational technologies and online delivery methods.
• Teaching effectiveness and passion for educational excellence across levels.
• Desirable experience with work-integrated learning and industry links.
• Ability to support diverse students and equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
