Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD in Electrical Engineering or related discipline with relevant work experience.
• Proven commitment to up-to-date discipline knowledge and developments.
• Demonstrated teaching and learning design, development or delivery at undergrad/postgrad levels in power systems or electrical energy engineering.
• Track record in power systems research with high quality, high impact outcomes.
• Evidence of research excellence and potential for leadership in research.
• Experience with educational technologies and online delivery methods.
• Evidence of teaching effectiveness and passion for educational excellence.
• Desirable: experience with work-integrated learning or industry links.
• Commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion, and ability to work with diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
• Supervise Honours and postgraduate project students and contribute to course administration.
• Undertake research in electrical energy systems and power engineering and engage with industry and interdisciplinary collaborators.
• Contribute to innovation, knowledge exchange and development of engineers and researchers.
