Qualifications

• PhD in oceanography or coastal/marine geoscience.
• Demonstrated expertise in coastal oceanography, coastal geomorphology, reef systems, and marine/coastal environmental change.
• Experience with fieldwork, instrument deployment and remote coastal environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching in coastal oceanography across undergraduate and postgraduate levels, in classroom, field and laboratory settings.
• Lead field trips and conduct fieldwork, including at One Tree Island Research Station, with boating and instrument deployment responsibilities.
• Develop engaging curricula and learning experiences aligned with curriculum requirements.
• Publish high-quality research and contribute to the School's scholarly profile.
• Contribute to administrative and service activities within the School, and support a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
• Support the strategic direction of the School, Faculty, and University.
