• PhD in oceanography or coastal/marine geoscience.
• Expertise in coastal oceanography, coastal geomorphology, reef systems, and marine/coastal environmental change including their interplay with large-scale drivers.
• Experience deploying instruments, organizing fieldwork, and leading field operations in remote coastal environments; able to perform numerical modelling or manage large datasets.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver high-quality teaching in coastal oceanography across coral reefs and environmental change, linking coastal processes with ocean drivers.
• Teach across undergraduate, honours and postgraduate levels in classroom, field and laboratory settings.
• Design and deliver engaging programs meeting curriculum requirements and learning needs.
• Lead fieldtrips and fieldwork, especially at One Tree Island Research Station, including boat driving, data collection and instrument deployment.
• Develop a research profile evidenced by high-quality publications and external collaborations with industry and government.
• Contribute to administrative and service activities within the School and foster an inclusive, collaborative workplace culture.
• Support the strategic direction of the School, Faculty and University.
