Job summary

Curtin University’s School of Allied Health invites a Speech Pathologist with extensive clinical and education experience to join as Lecturer (Teaching Academic) in Speech Pathology as Clinical Coordinator. This is a full-time, permanent role with part-time/job-sharing options available for the successful candidate.

You will lead the fieldwork program and support students and clinical educators to translate learning into practice.

Qualifications

• Doctoral qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional standing.
• Demonstrated high level clinical education expertise and reflective teaching delivery.
• Emerging understanding of contemporary educational practice relevant to the discipline.
• Demonstrated capacity to undertake unit coordination.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high-quality Speech Pathology fieldwork program and translate learning into practice.
• Coordinate fieldwork activities and support students and clinical educators during placements.
• Contribute to continuous program improvement and maintain industry partnerships.
• Build strong relationships with practitioners and industry partners.
