We welcome and encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, young people, people of diverse sexualities and genders, people with disability, and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

About the role

The lecturer's primary role is to teach, facilitate learning, assess and mentor students in accordance with relevant curriculum and/or training package requirements. Lecturers also undertake Professional Activities (PA) and Activities Related to Delivery (ARD).

In order to maintain quality educational services, lecturers are required to keep abreast of technological and other developments in their field through professional development to provide up-to-date information and advice to the College and industry, where appropriate.

To be successful in this role you will have a Trade qualification in Automotive Electrical. The successful applicant will also have at least 5 years of vocational or lecturing experience relevant to this position with an ability to facilitate and encourage learning.

There is a minimum qualification required to deliver accredited vocational education and training (VET) as defined by the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015 (Standards), or its successors.
