Job summary

Greystar is seeking a personable Leasing/Customer Experience Associate in Melbourne to greet prospective residents and guide them through the first steps of their rental journey.

You will respond to inquiries, learn about individual lifestyle needs, and connect applicants with the right Greystar community, tours, and onsite staff. The role emphasizes relationship-building and delivering exceptional customer experiences within a fast-paced, collaborative team.

What you'll be doing

Every day is different, but you'll spend your time: Responding to enquiries from prospective residents via phone, email and digital channels. Getting to know prospective residents and understanding their lifestyle, preferences, timing and housing needs. Matching prospects with the most suitable Greystar community and bringing our unique lifestyle offering to life. Booking apartment tours and connecting prospects with our onsite Leasing Professionals. Creating a seamless experience from the very first enquiry through to the handover for a site tour. Maintaining accurate records within our CRM and property management systems. Working closely with our onsite leasing teams to support portfolio leasing performance. Contributing ideas and insights that help improve the customer journey and leasing experience.

About you

You're someone who genuinely enjoys talking to people. You build rapport quickly, ask great questions and know how to make others feel comfortable. You bring positive energy, stay organised and enjoy being part of a team working towards shared goals. You're naturally curious, proactive and love the satisfaction of helping people find the right solution. Maybe you've worked in customer service, hotels, sales, hospitality, travel, aviation, retail or fitness. Whatever your background, if you're great with people and interested in building a career in property, we'd love to hear from you. Previous real estate experience isn't essential. We're looking for attitude, potential and a willingness to learn. You'll need Experience in a customer-facing role. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Confidence building relationships and managing conversations over the phone. Excellent organisational and administration skills. A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. An interest in property or real estate (experience is advantageous but not essential).
