Job summary

Essence Communities, part of the UniLodge Living Group, is hiring a Leasing Agent for the WeAreLiving Preston team in Melbourne. You will guide prospects from enquiry to move-in, showcase our premium BTR spaces, and drive occupancy while maintaining strong customer relations.

The role requires proven leasing experience in residential or commercial property, ability to conduct tours, and solid CRM/KPIs management.

Qualifications

• Proven leasing experience in residential, commercial or retail property.
• Confidence conducting property tours and guiding applicants through the full leasing journey.
• Strong organisation and follow-through, with comfort managing CRM systems and KPIs.
• Certification: Cert IV in Real Estate/Agent’s Representative (VIC) is required.
• Unrestricted working rights in Australia & National Police Check.

Responsibilities

• Guide prospective residents through a seamless journey from enquiry to move-in.
• Showcase apartments and amenities to bring the Build-to-Rent lifestyle to life.
• Convert leasing enquiries to achieve occupancy and minimise vacancy.

The Opportunity:

The WeAreLiving Preston Team are on the lookout for dynamic Leasing Agent to join us on a Permanent full time basis . As Leasing Agent,you’ll guide prospective residents through every step of their rental journey, delivering a seamless and genuinely positive leasing experience. From first enquiry to move-in day, you’ll build rapport, showcase our beautiful spaces, and ensure every interaction reflects our values of warmth, professionalism and ease.

Key Responsibilities, include:

• Guide prospective residents through a seamless, supportive journey – from first enquiry to move-in, ensuring every interaction feels personal, warm and effortless.
• Confidently showcase our apartments and amenities, bringing the Build to Rent lifestyle to life.
• Proactively manage and convert leasing enquiries to achieve occupancy and minimise vacancy.
• Support smooth move-ins and renewals, fostering a connected and inclusive community.
• Ensure accurate lease administration, compliance excellence, and presentation standards that reflect our premium brand.

About You:

You are a natural relationship-builder who thrives in a fast-paced leasing environment. Confident, warm and commercially aware, you know how to turn an enquiry into a signed lease while ensuring every prospective resident feels genuinely supported along the way. You will also bring:

• Proven leasing experience in residential, commercial or retail property
• Confidence conducting property tours and guiding applicants through the full leasing journey
• Strong organisation and follow-through, with comfort managing CRM systems and KPIs
• Completed Cert IV in Real Estate/Agent’s Representative Certificate (VIC)
• Unrestricted working rights in Australia & National Police Check.
