Job summary

St Teresa's School, Ravenshoe, Queensland, seeks a Leader of Learning and Teaching as a part-time, fixed-term leadership position (3 years) with 12 hours per week. The role sits within Catholic Education - Diocese of Cairns and holds a substantive full-time teaching position.

Salary ranges from $86,600 to $147,048 FTE gross per annum plus allowances and superannuation. The successful candidate will lead curriculum development, pedagogy, assessment and reporting, and work to strengthen student

Qualifications

• Strong commitment to Catholic Education values, vision and ethos.
• Qualified in Education and eligible for QCT registration.
• Demonstrated ability in Learning and Teaching.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Commitment to child safety and duty of care.
• Ability to work with the school community and faith life.

Responsibilities

• Lead curriculum, pedagogy, assessment and reporting aligned to Australian Curriculum.
• Support and develop teacher practice to improve student learning.
• Develop school-wide assessment and reporting practices.
• Analyse data to inform decisions and build partnerships.
• Manage available resources and contribute to school leadership.
