St Teresa's School, Ravenshoe, invites applications for the Primary leadership position of Learning and Teaching. The role is a part-time leadership position (12 hours/week) at Ravenshoe, while the appointee will hold a substantive full-time permanent teaching position within Catholic Education Diocese of Cairns.

The successful candidate will drive curriculum development, pedagogy, assessment and reporting, aligning with national and local requirements and the Catholic ethos.

Qualifications

• Strong commitment to Catholic Education values and ethos.
• Professional qualifications in Education and QCT registration.
• Demonstrated ability in Learning and Teaching.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of curriculum, pedagogy, assessment and reporting.
• Ensure research-based pedagogies are implemented across the school.
• Deliver systematic Australian Curriculum delivery.
• Monitor and enhance student learning and teacher practice through support.
• Develop school-wide assessment and reporting practices; analyze data for decisions.
• Foster partnerships within and outside of the school; administer resources.
