Job summary

Catholic Education SA's St Francis School in Adelaide is seeking motivated co-educators to join our Learning Support team for 2027 on a fixed-term/contract basis at ESO3 classification.

The role focuses on delivering Tier 3 literacy and numeracy interventions, collaborating with teachers, allied health professionals and families, and supporting students with diverse learning needs in an inclusive Catholic education setting.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of child development and learning.
• Experience collaborating with teachers and allied health professionals.
• Experience delivering Tier 3 literacy and numeracy interventions.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff and families.
• Commitment to inclusive education and diverse learning needs.
• Willing to complete Continence Care training.

Responsibilities

• Support the Catholic ethos of St Francis School.
• Collaborate with teachers, co-educators and allied health professionals as part of the school's support programs.
• Deliver Tier 3 intervention in literacy and numeracy.
• Provide supervision and care for all students, including those with identified special needs and Personalised Plans for Learning (PPL).
• Assist students with physical care requirements where required.
• Participate in school activities, staff meetings and professional learning opportunities.
• Use restorative practices to support positive relationships and resolve conflict situations.
• Undertake additional duties as directed by the Principal or delegate.
