Job summary

Qualifications

• Qualified or demonstrable experience in Education Support or related field.
• Ability to work under direction of classroom teachers to support individual students.
• Strong communication and organisational skills for records and parent meetings.

Responsibilities

• Support students with learning needs in classrooms across Departments.
• Assist teachers by working with individual students or small groups.
• Prepare aids and modify tasks with teachers’ input.
• Take notes, scribe, and assist with computer management for students.
• Provide support during practical classes, placements, and excursions.
• Assist students with mobility or sensory needs and travel training as required.
• Support exam arrangements and disability provisions, supervise playgrounds.
• Maintain records of support strategies and curriculum adjustments.
• Provide admin support to Learning Support leadership and teachers.
