Job summary

Lighthouse Christian College in Keysborough, Victoria, seeks experienced Learning Support Assistants on a contract basis to support students with special educational needs. Full-time contracts are available for Primary and Secondary areas commencing Term 4, 2026 through to the end of the 2027 school year.

You will help students reach their full potential through consistent, inclusive support. Applicants must be committed to student wellbeing, reliable, and able to work a minimum of three days

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Education Support preferred.
• First Aid, CPR and Anaphylaxis qualifications, or willingness to obtain.
• Experience with students with learning difficulties or extra needs.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Lighthouse Christian College - Keysborough is seeking experienced Learning Support Assistants to join their dedicated team on a contract basis. Full-time contracts are available for the Primary and Secondary areas commencing Term 4, 2026 through to end of the school year in 2027. These vital roles will provide support and assistance to students with special educational needs, helping them to reach their full potential. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people.

Applicants must be committed to supporting students' learning and wellbeing and be available to work a minimum of three days per week. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a positive difference in an educational environment and can provide consistent, reliable support throughout the school week.

Skills & Experience

• Certificate III or IV in Education Support (preferred); Certificate IV in School Based Education Support (highly desirable); First Aid, CPR and Anaphylaxis qualifications, or willingness to obtain and maintain; Ongoing professional learning relevant to inclusive education and student wellbeing.
• Experience working with students who have learning difficulties, disabilities or other additional needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, teachers and parents
• Patience, empathy and a genuine passion for supporting student growth and development
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a teaching team
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
