TWO experienced and qualified Learning Partner's: Student Support and Achievement are needed at Catholic Schools Broken Bay on a permanent full-time basis.

About the Role
This role plays a key role in delivering strategic priorities that improve student achievement, engagement, and inclusion across Catholic Schools Broken Bay (CSBB) schools. Working collaboratively with school leaders and staff to enhance teaching quality, build inclusive learning cultures, and implement evidence-informed practices aligned to the CSBB strategic plan, Shaping Tomorrow Together in Faith.
Through guidance, advice, coaching, mentoring, and case collaboration, this role supports school leaders in responding to complex matters involving student learning, curriculum adjustments, enrolment, behaviour, and wellbeing. Contributes to whole-of-system strategies by coordinating support across workstreams, liaising with Student Achievement Leads, and collecting and contributing data to inform future planning.
This role provides subject matter knowledge and practical support to ensure equitable access to high-quality learning for all students. As a key liaison between schools, Student Achievement Leads, subject matter experts (SMEs), and central office, the role ensures alignment between local needs and system priorities. This role brings their own SME knowledge to strategic projects and initiatives, contributing thought leadership, data insights, and practical expertise to improve system-wide student outcomes.
This is for two permanent, newly created full-time roles (1.0FTE each) to start as soon as possible. This role will be based at our head office in Pennant Hills.
Key Responsibilities
- Acts as a central contact for schools seeking advice on complex learning, engagement and inclusion matters
- Triage’s school requests and coordinates timely and appropriate responses across internal and external support teams
- Provides guidance, advice, coaching, mentoring to school leaders to strengthen inclusive practices and build local capability
- Leads and facilitates case collaboration, ensuring cross-functional support for students with diverse and complex needs
- Coordinates with school staff and SMEs to ensure alignment with legislation, policy and guidelines
- Oversees and ensures quality documentation for all supported cases in line with compliance requirements
- Brings subject matter expertise to the design and implementation of strategic initiatives aligned to the student achievement agenda
- Collects and analyses school support data to inform future project design and strategic resource allocation
- Promotes an inclusive learning environment through professional dialogues, coaching and modelling best practice
- Collaborates within and across teams to align casework, coaching and project delivery with strategic goals
- Contributes to the shared responsibility of safeguarding students, ensuring professional boundaries, and upholding duty of care legislative requirements
About You
- Supportive of, and able to demonstrate, a strong understanding and commitment to the ethos of the Catholic faith in an educational context.
- Demonstrated expertise in inclusive education, curriculum differentiation, assessment and student support
- Support schools with student achievement, diverse learning and pathways
- Extensive experience in coaching, mentoring, guidance and advisory roles for teachers and school leaders
- Expertise in case management and leading case collaborations
- Subject matter expertise in student achievement, student wellbeing and curriculum.
- Knowledge of educational legislation, particularly relating to inclusion, adjustments, risk and student wellbeing
- Proven ability to manage complex casework involving multi-disciplinary collaboration
- Strong communication, collaboration and documentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to strategic initiatives that enhance equity and excellence
- Effective collaborator, confident in working with school and system leadership
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex initiatives, balancing workload to ensure successful implementation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, tailored for different audiences.
- Customer-focused, responsive to stakeholder needs, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in Education or have the relevant experience
- A Postgraduate qualification in Educational Leadership is highly desirable, though not essential
- Accredited to teach in NSW
- Valid Working with Children Check
- Current NSW Driver’s Licence (and own car required)
