Job summary

Sharp and Carter is seeking an experienced Learning and Organisational Development Lead for a fixed-term contract to April 2027, based in North Ryde with national scope. You will lead a national frontline capability program, coordinate site readiness and training deployment, and drive train-the-trainer delivery across sites, while maintaining governance and reporting to a steering committee.

Travel nationally, collaborate with operational leaders, and support recruitment of regional training

Qualifications

• Strong experience in organisational development, learning and capability within a multi-site environment.
• Track record of managing complex, multi-site capability or workforce programs.
• Experience rolling out and managing a training platform, including train-the-trainer delivery.
• Comfortable implementing a pre-designed program with a focus on execution and delivery.
• Excellent governance, risk and stakeholder management with senior/site leaders.
• Highly organised, pragmatic and capable in a fast-paced, complex environment.
• Available to commence in September and commit through to April 2027, with national travel.

A well-known Australian organisation, employing a large workforce nationally, is seeking an experienced Learning and Organisational Development Lead.

This role sits at the centre of a major frontline capability program, taking a program that has already been designed and driving its implementation across sites nationally.

The Role

• Act as the accountable project lead for a national frontline capability program, from site assessment through to full rollout
• Coordinate site readiness planning, induction and training deployment across multiple locations nationally
• Lead train-the-trainer activity and support the rollout of a training platform across the business
• Maintain a clear project plan, tracking milestones, risks, dependencies and reporting
• Support the recruitment and onboarding of regional training coordinators
• Partner with operational leaders and site teams to identify and address capability needs
• Provide regular updates to a steering committee and ensure decisions are translated into action

About You

• Strong experience in organisational development, learning and capability, ideally within an operational, manufacturing or multi-site environment
• A track record project managing complex, multi-site capability or workforce programs
• Experience rolling out and managing a training platform, including train-the-trainer delivery
• Comfortable implementing a program that has already been designed, with a focus on execution and delivery
• Strong governance, risk and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior and site-based leaders
• Highly organised, pragmatic and comfortable working in a fast-paced, complex environment
• Available to commence in September and commit through to April 2027, with willingness to travel to sites nationally
