McAuley College, Beaudesert, is seeking a Learning Leader in Humanities and HPE to provide instructional leadership across these subjects and support quality teaching and engaging learning. The role is a continuing appointment with Middle Leader responsibilities and budget oversight, requiring a minimum of five years teaching and strong collaboration with staff and the Beaudesert community.

• Analyzing student performance data and addressing areas of concern through appropriate interventions.
• Managing financial and material resources within the area of responsibility including the formulation of budgets and the expenditure of allocated funds.

Summary

McAuley College, Beaudesert is seeking a passionate and collaborative Learning Leader (Humanities and HPE) to provide leadership across these key learning areas, supporting quality teaching and engaging learning experiences for students.

• Location: McAuley College - Beaudesert (S)

This is a continuing teaching appointment, with an initial appointment into the Middle Leader position including Middle Leader Allowance, concluding at the end of the current triennium (December 2029). Two subsequent three-year appointments with the Middle Leader Allowance can be offered subject to satisfactory performance in the position and the ongoing existence of the position.

In this position you will be responsible for:

• Leading the designated curriculum area(s) taught in the school

• Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
• Current registration with Queensland College of Teachers.
