Job summary

• Strong verbal and written communication to liaise with students, teachers and families.
• Sound understanding of inclusive education and strategies for access and participation by diverse learners.
• Ability to collect, record and communicate student learning data to inform decisions.
• Commitment to ongoing professional learning, reflective practice and alignment with school values.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with classroom teachers and Learning Enhancement staff to implement IEPs, SSGs and adjustments.
• Provide small group or individual support to reinforce learning as directed by teachers.
• Support targeted literacy and numeracy interventions aligned with the school's approach.
• Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and the team.
• Prepare learning materials, visual supports and differentiated resources.
• Foster student independence, confidence and engagement through structured guidance.
• Support communication with parents and specialist staff to promote collaboration.
• Contribute to an inclusive, calm and safe learning environment and wellbeing.
• Provide personal care and health support when required, following training and protocols.
• Engage in ongoing professional learning and reflective practice.
