Job summary

Europcar Mobility Group is seeking a Learning & Development Coordinator in Melbourne to support VIC and TAS teams. Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years' sales and coaching experience
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or related qualification
• Experience with Workday Learning is highly desirable
• Previous experience managing staff is an advantage
• Passion to work with people and develop their capabilities
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Ability to develop strong stakeholder relationships
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
• Valid Driver's Licence (full)
• Flexibility to travel intrastate and interstate regularly

About the role: Europcar has an exciting opportunity for a Learning & Development Coordinator to join our VIC and TAS team on a full time basis. This position will be based in Melbourne with regular site visits within the VIC and TAS network and interstate. As a Learning & Development Coordinator you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our VIC and TAS team and enhancing a culture of excellence in ancillary sales and customer service.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

• Onboarding new employees, training in systems, rental operations and any other changes in operations procedures.
• Deliver high-quality, targeted training that enhances the customer experience and supports business growth targets.
• Partner with L&D and HR teams to ensure training needs and learning outcomes are reflected in the design and development of learning programs.
• Use Workday Learning to assign, track, and report on training completion, ensuring compliance and accurate learning records.
• Support employees and leaders in using Workday Learning, including troubleshooting access issues and guiding them through learning pathways.
• Assist with the updating of policies and procedures and tracking and readership of policies and procedures as required.
• Work with the L&D team to support ongoing development, including reviewing and creating content and driving eLearning completion across VIC and TAS.
• Generate and analyse Workday learning reports to provide insights on training uptake, compliance, and capability gaps.

To be considered for this position you should possess:

• Minimum two (2) years' sales and coaching experience
• A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or related qualification
• Experience with Workday Learning is highly desirable

At the end of the 19th century, the car was a luxury reserved for the elite, but interested everyone, attracting crowds: in 1898, the first car show was held in Paris. Car rental will see the light a few years later, across the Atlantic, but its development will be stopped by the first and then by the Second World Wars. In the aftermath of the war, a Parisian entrepreneur revived the idea: “If you can’t afford to buy a car, why not rent one when you need it?”. His name was Raoul-Louis Mattei and in 1949, he created "L'Abonnement Automobile": a company that would later become the Compagnie Internationale Europcars, then Europcar. Its headquarters, located 11 rue du Champ de Mars also included a rental agency. The company's success was rapid, as car rental responded to a real need.
