Job summary

BDO Australia is seeking a Learning & Capability Adviser to enable the effective delivery of national learning programs and ensure a high-quality learner experience.

You'll work between operations and business partnering, providing advisory support across workshops, virtual classrooms, leadership programs and professional-skills pathways, partnering with internal teams, facilitators and vendors to translate requirements into great learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in learning operations or HR/L&D within corporate services.
• Degree in HR, Business or related field preferred.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency with MS Office and LMS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate learning program enrolments, participant communications and learner support activities.
• Provide advice to learners and stakeholders on program requirements, learning pathways and attendance expectations.
• Manage learning delivery logistics, including scheduling, virtual classrooms, venues, facilitators and vendors.
• Prepare and quality-check learning materials, facilitator resources and participant communications.
• Maintain accurate learning records, attendance data and LMS reporting.
• Monitor training compliance requirements, including CPD tracking and completion records.
• Support evaluation and feedback processes, providing insights and recommendations to improve learning outcomes.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, facilitators and external providers to ensure successful program delivery.
• Identify risks, resolve issues and contribute to the continuous improvement of learning processes and learner experiences.

About The Role

The Learning & Capability Adviser plays an important role in enabling the effective delivery of BDO Australia's national learning programs and supporting a consistent, high-quality learner experience.

Sitting between operational coordination and strategic business partnering, the role provides practical advisory support, program ownership and learning expertise across workshops, virtual classrooms, leadership programs and professional-skills pathways.

Working closely with the Learning & Capability Business Partners, Learning Operations & Experience, facilitators and vendors, the role helps translate program requirements into well-executed learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate learning program enrolments, participant communications and learner support activities.

About You

• Prior experience in learning operations, HR/L&D operations, program delivery, events or similar within a corporate or professional services environment.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business Studies or a related discipline would be highly regarded.
• Confident communicator with the ability to provide clear advice, manage expectations and build effective relationships with learners, facilitators, vendors and stakeholders at all levels of the business.
• Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• High attention to detail, ensuring quality and consistency across systems and learning records.
• Passionate about improving learning experiences, enabling business outcomes and contributing to the effectiveness of BDO's learning function.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and confident using learning management systems, data, reporting tools and virtual classroom technology.
