Job summary

Caulfield Grammar School on Wheelers Hill Campus seeks a dynamic Learning Assistant to join the Learning Strategies Team. This permanent role is Monday–Friday, term time only, reporting to the Head of Learning Strategies and supporting students with specific learning needs by accessing curriculum and daily classroom opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience supporting students with specific learning needs.
  • Hold a current Working With Children Check or willingness to obtain.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist teachers in the implementation of quality educational programmes.
  • Work cooperatively with teachers to ensure continuity in teaching strategies and methods.
  • Maintain discretion when liaising with school parents.
  • Maintain written documentation on student learning as required.
  • High level of written and verbal communication is a must.
  • Contribute positively to the wider team and school environment.
