Job summary

Jump! Swim Schools Mackay is seeking an experienced swim teacher for casual weekend and afternoon work. You will teach infants, toddlers and young children in a private, indoor environment, delivering high-quality lessons and supporting student progress.

You must hold a Swimming and Water Safety Teacher certification, along with a Working With Children Check, First Aid and CPR. Build strong relationships with families and ensure pool safety.

Qualifications

• Holding a Swimming and Water Safety Teacher certification is required.
• Experience teaching learn-to-swim classes with young children.
• Current Working With Children Check, First Aid and CPR.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons according to Jump! program standards.
• Support student progress and maintain lesson consistency.
• Ensure safety in all lessons and the pool area.
• Attend training and stay updated on certifications.
• Keep the pool area tidy and provide customer service to families.

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced swim teacher to join our team on a casual basis for weekend and afternoon work. You will be teaching infants, toddlers and young children in a clean, private, indoor environment.

Our swim teachers play an important role in delivering high-quality lessons and supporting the ongoing development of our students.

You will:

• Deliver lessons according to the Jump! program standards.
• Support student progress and maintain lesson consistency.
• Ensure safety in all lessons and the pool area.
• Attend training, apply learnings, and stay updated on certifications.
• Keep the pool area tidy.
• Provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships with families.
