Learn to Swim Instructors (Aquatic Educators)

  • Casual positions (must be available to work on weekends)
  • Pay Rate: $38.73 per hour includes 25% loading
  • Location: Aquahub and Aquanation

Maroondah City Council is committed to providing a creative, dynamic and accessible Learn to Swim program. Maroondah Leisure are currently seeking Learn to Swim Instructors to deliver our expanding program at both Aquahub and Aquanation.

Successful candidates must be available to work on weekends (either Saturday and/or Sunday) between the hours of 8.00am-12.00pm.

At Maroondah Leisure, we strive to create a new level of industry standards and inspire wide-spread community participation. We believe in teaching water safety and swimming skills that extend far beyond the walls of our facility.

Successful candidates will:

  • Deliver high-level customer service
  • Engage with children of all ages and swimming abilities
  • Demonstrate commitment to the goals and objectives of the team
  • A valid AUSTSWIM or Swim Australia qualification, CPR and a Working With Children Check ID Card (Employee)
  • Have a valid AUSTSWIM Teacher of Infant and Preschool Aquatics or Swim Australia Teacher of Babies & Toddlers to teach students under 4 years old.
