Job summary

Maroondah City Council is recruiting Learn to Swim Instructors to deliver our expanding program at Aquahub and Aquanation. Successful candidates will provide high level customer service, engage with children of all ages and swimming abilities, and uphold water safety standards.

This casual role requires weekend availability, shifts 8:00am–12:00pm, and the ability to work across both venues. AUSTSWIM/Swim Australia certification, CPR and a Working With Children Check are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid AUSTSWIM or Swim Australia qualification, CPR and a Working With Children Check ID Card (Employee).
• Must have AUSTSWIM Teacher of Infant and Preschool Aquatics or Swim Australia Teacher of Babies & Toddlers for under-4 teaching.

Maroondah City Council is committed to providing a creative, dynamic and accessible Learn to Swim program. Maroondah Leisure are currently seeking Learn to Swim Instructors to deliver our expanding program at both Aquahub and Aquanation.

Successful candidates must be available to work on weekends (either Saturday and/or Sunday) between the hours of 8.00am-12.00pm.
