Qualifications

• Experience in coaching, teaching, or instructing in a sporting or community setting.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver fun, structured, and age-appropriate basketball sessions for beginners.
• Create an inclusive and welcoming environment for all participants regardless of skill level, background, or ability.
• Teach fundamental basketball skills including dribbling, passing, shooting, and basic game rules.
• Adapt coaching methods to suit diverse needs.
• Provide positive feedback to help participants grow.
• Ensure safety and wellbeing of all participants.
• Communicate with participants, parents, guardians, and team members.
• Maintain attendance records and session notes.
• Contribute to ongoing program improvement.
