Job summary

Gold Fields is seeking an experienced leader to supervise and drive a high-performing surface mining production team. You will oversee execution, ensure adherence to quality, safety and environmental standards, and report to the Surface Production Supervisor.

The role offers an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth or 4/4/6 rosters for residents near Kalgoorlie or Kambalda, with potential relocation support and additional benefits. You will mentor staff and contribute to achieving budgeted targets.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a surface production team.
• Knowledge and application of relevant statutory obligations.
• Can safely operate heavy mining equipment (Komatsu, Liebherr, CAT).
• Current HR Driver’s License and S26 Certification.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Supervisor: Surface Production, you will be responsible for the effective execution and supervision of Surface Mining related issues when required to enable achievement of budgeted production targets, meeting all quality standards including cost, safety and environment.

This role is offered on an 8/6 roster for FIFO candidates or on a 4/4/6 roster for those residential to the Kalgoorlie or Kambalda area.

Up to six months’ free, company-provided accommodation may be available for eligible candidates from under-represented groups (for example, women in mining and Indigenous Australians) relocating to Kambalda for permanent roles. Accommodation includes basic furnishings and utilities and is subject to availability and housing policy, with support available to assist with transitioning to a lease after the initial six-month period. Eligibility and final terms will be discussed during the recruitment process

Skills and Qualifications
