Job summary

MFP Easy Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced paving and tiling tradesperson to lead the finishing work on outdoor pool projects across South East Queensland. You will take pride in precise set-outs, clean cuts, level surfaces and a high-quality finished surface.

You will lead the on-site paving crew, with responsibility for setting out, laying and finishing natural stone and porcelain pavers. This full-time role includes a company vehicle and opportunities to grow into team leadership as our

• Substantial hands-on experience in outdoor paving and tiling.
• Proven ability to lead on-site teams and finish work to a high standard.
• Current construction White Card and valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the paving team on site for pool coping and paving works.
• Set out, measure heights, levels and drainage falls accurately.
• Cut, lay, grout and finish various outdoor pavers to multiple layouts.
• Guide and supervise growing team, ensure workmanship meets quality standards.
• Assist with small blockwork and feature elements as needed.

Experienced Paving & Tiling Tradesperson | Step Up to Leading Hand

MFP Easy is looking for a proven paving and tiling tradesperson to lead the finishing work on outstanding fibreglass pool projects across South East Queensland. If you take pride in a precise set-out, clean cuts, consistent levels and a beautiful finished surface, this is your opportunity to put your name to work you can be proud of.

We are an award-winning pool builder with a large, energetic team. Our projects stretch from the Sunshine Coast through Brisbane and Ipswich to the Gold Coast. This is a full-time, hands-on employee role with a company vehicle and a genuine opportunity to grow into leading an on-site paving crew. You will lead the work on site; broader team management remains with MFP Easy.

The work

• Set out and install pool coping and outdoor paved surrounds.
• Measure and work accurately to heights, levels and drainage falls.
• Cut, lay, grout and finish natural stone, porcelain and other outdoor pavers across a range of layouts.
• Check workmanship and guide employees on site as the paving team grows.
• Contribute to small blockwork and stone-clad water features, channel drains including Ultra Drain, and handrail installation where required. We can teach you our products and processes for these additional works.

What you must bring

• Substantial, recent hands-on experience in outdoor paving and tiling. This is not a trainee or entry-level position.
• Clear evidence that you have personally completed high-quality paving projects, including accurate set-outs, stone cutting, grouting, levels and falls.
• A relevant trade qualification, a current construction White Card, a current driver's licence and any licence or registration required for the work you perform.
• The judgement to solve site challenges, maintain safe work practices and set a strong example for others.
• You must be willing to complete a pre-employment medical assessment relevant to the physical duties of this role and provide a National Police Certificate.
