Job summary

Core Lithium is seeking an experienced Medic Emergency Services Officer to lead underground emergency response readiness at Finniss, NT. Permanent 7 on/7 off roster with day shifts, relocation support available to Darwin region.

Role focuses on building a capable Emergency Response Team and ensuring systems, equipment and training meet underground mining safety needs. You will help shape standards, training programs and rescue systems as underground production ramps up, with hands-on leadership

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Mine Emergency Response and Rescue (or equivalent).
• Certificate IV in Health Care, Pre-Hospital Care or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years' underground emergency response or MESO experience.
• Experience in underground mining environments.
• Strong competence in breathing apparatus, mine rescue, firefighting and rope rescue.
• Experience training or developing Emergency Response Team capability.
• MR or HR driver's licence.
• Strong communication, leadership and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergencies across underground and surface operations.
• Provide first aid, trauma care and casualty management.
• Support underground rescue, firefighting and technical response activities.
• Establish and develop site Emergency Response Team capability.
• Train and mentor ERT members to build competency.
• Implement underground emergency response systems and standards.
• Manage self-rescuer, breathing apparatus and rescue equipment programs.
• Conduct emergency drills and competency assessments.
• Maintain emergency equipment and facilities in ready state.
• Support incident reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
