Job summary

The State Government of Victoria is seeking a senior leader to oversee the Victorian Transport Digital Engineering (VTDE) platform, ensuring secure, reliable and cost-effective technology aligned with business needs.

Responsibilities include strategic technical leadership, operational service delivery, stakeholder engagement, risk management and governance, driving continuous improvement and ensuring compliance with government standards.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Management, Information Systems, Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience (mandatory).
• Demonstrated experience in digital engineering and spatial programs, with a graduate degree and professional software accreditation, including Autodesk Construction Cloud (mandatory).
• IBM Maximo certification (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic technical leadership for the VTDE platform.
• Oversee operational service delivery and ensure reliability and cost-effectiveness.
• Engage with stakeholders, manage risk, and ensure governance and standards are followed.
• Communicate effectively, drive continuous improvement and support informed decision-making.
• Champion technology governance and alignment with organizational objectives.
