Roccella Italian Restaurant Bundoora is seeking an experienced Trade Waiter to join our front-of-house team in Bundoora VIC. The role focuses on supervising and coordinating FOH staff, taking orders and reservations, and delivering hospitality with a warm southern Italian touch.

You will welcome guests, set and reset tables, serve dishes and drinks, recommend dishes and wines, handle payments, and ensure diners enjoy a memorable experience.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a Trade Waiter.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Able to serve clients effectively and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Supervision, training and coordination of FOH employees.
• Taking orders and reservations from clients.
• Cleaning tables after services and setting tables for new customers.
• Arranging tables on the restaurant.
• Welcoming clients and taking them to their table.
• Serving dishes and drinks.
• Recommending special dishes and wines according to menu availability and selection.
• Serving water and drinks.
• Collecting payments after service.
• Ensuring customers enjoy their dining experience.
