Job summary

Transport For NSW is seeking a Lead Test Engineer for a fixed-term role until 31 July 2029. The position is based in Macquarie Park, Parramatta and/or CBD offices with a hybrid working model, approximately 50% office time.

You will execute manual and automated testing across the full lifecycle, lead test planning and data preparation, and drive high-quality release validation and UAT activities in a multi-stakeholder environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on testing experience across multiple testing levels.
• Ability to design test scenarios, cases and data to ensure coverage.
• Strong focus on quality outcomes and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual and automated testing across functional, integration, regression, system and field testing.
• Develop test strategies and maintain test governance in partnership with vendors and stakeholders.
• Contribute to automation, improve test coverage and share best practices across the team.
