Job summary

UGL invites a Lead / Principal SESA Engineer to join its Brisbane-based team working on a major greenfield rail project in South East Queensland. You will provide systems and/or safety engineering leadership, shape engineering frameworks, and guide stakeholders across design, construction, testing and commissioning.

The role offers mentoring and cross-disciplinary collaboration within Australia’s large CIMIC Group engineering family.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience coordinating systems engineering or safety assurance on complex projects.
• Experience on projects valued >$100M.
• Strong knowledge of lifecycle processes and standards (ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288).

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage systems engineering and safety assurance approaches across project scopes.
• Lead requirements definition and allocation per project needs.
• Drive implementation of systems and safety engineering plans and evidence.
