Job summary

Gold Fields is seeking a Surface Production Team Leader in Western Australia to oversee execution of surface mining tasks, ensuring production targets, safety, and environment compliance. The role offers a FIFO 8/6 roster from Perth or 4/4/6 for residential candidates near Kalgoorlie or Kambalda.

Candidates should have S26 Certification and proven leadership in surface production, with the ability to mentor the team and manage operational challenges.

Qualifications

• Current HR Driver’s Licence and S26 Certification.
• Experience leading a surface production team.
• Knowledge and application of relevant statutory obligations.
• Experience operating listed equipment ( excavators, dozers, trucks ).

Responsibilities

• Supervise Surface Mining related issues to meet budgeted production targets, quality, safety and environmental standards.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing surface production team.
• Ensure compliance with statutory obligations and safety policies.
• Coordinate with maintenance and production to optimize equipment availability.
