Job summary

AECOM is expanding its Water Infrastructure group in Australia. You will lead structural design for water projects, mentor engineers and collaborate with clients to deliver sustainable outcomes.

As a Principal Structural Engineer, you will oversee the full lifecycle from bids to construction support, leveraging SpaceGass/Strand7 and Australian standards to ensure high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in structural engineering.
• Proven experience leading technical delivery and mentoring teams.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Australian structural design standards.
• Chartered registration is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structural design solutions for water/wastewater projects.
• Lead the technical delivery across the project lifecycle.
• Balance technical quality, programme and budget with judgement.
• Build relationships with clients and project teams.
• Support business development through technical input.
