Job summary

Bailey Nelson is opening a brand-new Mornington store in early October 2026 and is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead with energy and a passion for customer experience.

The role supports the Store Manager and Optometrist through the customer journey from eye test to frame selection and dispensing, with ownership of the store two days weekly and a focus on coaching the team to deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or optics at a supervisor or management level.
• Passion for creating great customer experiences.
• Ability to coach and develop others.
• Available to work full time on a Sunday to Thursday roster.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager and Optometrist to deliver a seamless customer journey from eye test to frame selection and dispense.
• Take ownership of the store 2 days a week, leading the team and driving performance.
• Keep the appointment book running smoothly and ensure every customer interaction feels easy and enjoyable.
• Coach and support your team to deliver great service, every time.
