Job summary

Titan Structural Group is seeking a Leading Hand to coordinate steel fixing and post-tensioning crews across major civil, CBD and infrastructure projects. You will read drawings, manage daily labour and ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery on site.

You’ll lead teams, mentor apprentices, and work closely with site management, engineers and supervisors across multiple sites on long-term, high-profile projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Leading Hand, Senior Steel Fixer or Foreman.
• Strong hands-on experience in steel fixing.
• Experience with post-tensioning works highly regarded.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and reinforcement plans.
• Previous experience leading a crew on civil, commercial or high-rise projects.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and site coordination.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate steel fixing and post-tensioning crews on site.
• Set out and interpret structural drawings and reinforcement details.
• Coordinate daily labour, materials, tools and equipment.
• Ensure steel fixing and post-tensioning works are completed accurately and to specification.
• Work closely with builders, engineers, supervisors and other trades.
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality and productivity.
• Identify and resolve site issues before they impact progress.
• Mentor and support tradespeople and apprentices within the crew.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment.
