Job summary

The Canberra Theatre Centre (CTC) in Canberra is seeking a Senior Technician to join the Audio Department. You will lead crews during bump-ins, performances and bump-outs, and operate and maintain professional audio systems for a diverse program.

You will work with presenters and touring teams, mix live performances, configure audio equipment, and contribute to safety and continuous improvements. This is a full-time 12-month temporary role with a possibility of permanency.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of audio systems, digital mixing consoles, signal distribution and wireless technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews during bump-ins, performances and bump-outs.
• Operate and maintain professional audio systems.
• Mix live performances and configure audio equipment for productions.
• Collaborate with presenters, hirers, touring parties and internal teams.
• Promote safety and contribute to training of staff.
