Job summary

LiveHire Limited in Melbourne is seeking a senior software engineering leader to shape the technical strategy and delivery of secure, scalable products that deliver measurable value for members and partners.

You will own solution design, collaborate with Product and Design, and drive reliability, observability and security across squads while advancing AI-assisted engineering practices.

Qualifications

Significant software engineering experience in complex digital or platform environments.
End-to-end ownership from discovery to optimisation.
Experience partnering with Product Managers and Designers to shape options and deliver outcomes.
Experience managing technical dependencies, delivery risks and production readiness across squads.

Responsibilities

Own engineering-led solution design, build, secure operation and continuous improvement for systems in the domain.
Lead technical direction and ensure reusable, scalable, and secure solutions within architecture guardrails.
Collaborate with Architecture, Security and Platform on high-impact decisions and provide clear technical advice to product teams.
Drive delivery planning input, estimation, sequencing and tracking; manage technical blockers and release readiness.
Embed operational readiness, monitoring, incident learning and performance management before launch.
