Job summary

Programmed is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee fabrication and mechanical services across client sites. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will lead trades teams and apprentices, coordinate workloads, and drive safety, quality and efficiency on every project.

You will read and interpret engineering drawings, monitor progress, manage resources and records, and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring compliance with WHS, drawings, specs and schedules.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification and supervisory capability.
• Experience leading trades personnel on busy sites.
• Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate fabrication and mechanical teams across client sites, ensuring efficient workflow and delivery against project schedules.
• Allocate daily work and provide clear direction to trades personnel and apprentices.
• Ensure all work complies with WHS requirements, drawings, specs and safety standards.
• Monitor work quality and conduct inspections to ensure compliance with drawings and safety requirements.
• Provide leadership, mentoring and support to tradespeople and apprentices.
• Liaise with Customer and Site Manager to understand project requirements and priorities.
• Monitor project progress and maintain records related to labour, materials and safety.
• Assist with project planning, quoting and preparation of estimates as required.
• Promote a strong safety culture and lead by example on site.
