Platinum is seeking Shotfirers for long-term mining contracts in Mackay, QLD. You’ll operate on a 7:7 roster, joining a tight-knit team providing blasting services with a strong focus on safety and reliability.

Camp living facilities are provided, with promised pay progression and long service leave schemes. Ideal candidates have proven Shotfirer experience, relevant blasting qualifications, and a proactive, safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Lead blasting operations with precision and safety.
• Coordinate and mentor blast crew to lift performance.
• Maintain and ensure reliability of blasting equipment.
• Keep accurate records and manage inventory effectively.
• Identify and resolve technical issues before they impact production.
