Job summary

Sodexo Australia is seeking an experienced Operations Leader to oversee village services, catering operations, accommodation, and related support functions at remote sites. You will drive safe, efficient, and compliant operations while fostering a positive team culture and strong client relationships.

The role requires leading large multidisciplinary teams, ensuring food safety standards, and driving continuous improvement through workforce planning, rostering, and performance monitoring.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large catering and village services teams.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and HACCP principles.
• Proven leadership experience in remote sites, camps, hospitality, or village environments.
• Excellent people leadership, stakeholder engagement, and client relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage large multidisciplinary catering and village services teams.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality catering and hospitality services.
• Drive operational performance through workforce planning, rostering, and resource management.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, HACCP, health and safety, and contractual requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and site leadership teams.
• Monitor operational performance through reporting, analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members to achieve operational and service excellence.
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaged workplace culture.
