Job summary

Centorrino Technologies (CT) is seeking two Lead Security Analysts to join a specialist cyber security team focused on protecting critical systems and responding to evolving threats. This is a 12-month contract with potential extensions, offering a hybrid work model.

You'll work in security operations, threat analysis, vulnerability management and incident response, collaborating with security leadership to strengthen the organisation's security posture.

Qualifications

• Experience in a SOC as a Security Analyst.
• Hands-on Splunk Enterprise Security expertise.
• Experience with EDR, NDR and SOAR platforms.
• Knowledge of ASD ISM and Essential Eight is desirable.
• Current TSPV security clearance mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Conduct threat-driven security analysis of systems and environments.
• Analyse threat intelligence to identify system-specific cyber threats and risks.
• Monitor security events and investigate potential security incidents.
• Develop and maintain incident response plans and playbooks.
• Analyse security vulnerabilities and recommend remediation solutions.
• Review existing security controls and identify potential weaknesses.
• Develop procedures for monitoring and analysing security information and events.
• Support the planning and execution of test and evaluation activities for systems and products.
• Work closely with technical teams and security leadership to strengthen security posture.
• Provide technical support and advice to security leadership as required.

• Demonstrated experience working within aSecurity Operations Centre (SOC)as a Security Analyst.
• Strong hands-on experience withSplunk Enterprise Security.
• Experience withEndpoint Detection and Response (EDR)platforms.
• Experience withNetwork Detection and Response (NDR)platforms.
• Experience withSecurity Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR)platforms.
• Strong understanding of threat analysis, security monitoring, vulnerability assessment and incident response.
• Knowledge of Australian Government information security policies, theASD Information Security Manual (ISM)andEssential Eightis desirable.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a highly security-focused environment.
• Current TSPV security clearance is mandatory
