Job summary

Centorrino Technologies is seeking two Lead Security Analysts to join a specialist cyber security environment. The 12-month contract covers security operations, threat analysis, vulnerability management and incident response with potential extensions.

Hybrid work is available and a strong eNPS score supports a collaborative culture. The role requires hands-on SOC experience, Splunk ES, EDR/NDR, SOAR, and threat analysis skills, plus knowledge of ASD ISM and Essential Eight.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have SOC experience as a Security Analyst.
• Hands-on experience with Splunk Enterprise Security, EDR, NDR, and SOAR.
• Knowledge of threat analysis, security monitoring, vulnerability assessment and incident response.
• Desirable ASD ISM and Essential Eight knowledge.
• Current TSPV security clearance is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Conduct threat-driven security analysis of systems and environments.
• Analyse threat intelligence to identify system-specific cyber threats and risks.
• Monitor security events and investigate potential security incidents.
• Develop and maintain incident response plans and playbooks.
• Review existing security controls and identify potential weaknesses.
• Develop procedures for monitoring and analysing security information and events.
• Support the planning and execution of test and evaluation activities for systems and products.
• Work closely with technical teams and security leadership to strengthen security posture.
• Provide technical support and advice to security leadership as required.

• Demonstrated experience working within aSecurity Operations Centre (SOC)as a Security Analyst.
• Strong hands-on experience withSplunk Enterprise Security.
• Experience withEndpoint Detection and Response (EDR)platforms.
• Experience withNetwork Detection and Response (NDR)platforms.
• Experience withSecurity Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR)platforms.
• Strong understanding of threat analysis, security monitoring, vulnerability assessment and incident response.
• Knowledge of Australian Government information security policies, theASD Information Security Manual (ISM)andEssential Eightis desirable.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a highly security-focused environment.
• Current TSPV security clearance is mandatory
