Job summary

Australian Submarine Agency - AU Government is seeking an EL1 Assistant Director Quality Management at Majura ACT to lead the quality, governance and continuous improvement functions across the organisation.

The role requires strong technical and analytical capabilities, stakeholder engagement, and autonomous leadership to establish a cross‑organisational quality framework aligned with Defence best practice and regulatory requirements in the Nuclear context.

Qualifications

• Strong technical and analytical capabilities in quality management.
• Ability to provide specialist advice across quality, assurance and continuous improvement functions.
• Experience leading assurance reviews and coaching teams.

Responsibilities

• Establish and implement the ASA Quality Management Framework.
• Liaise with stakeholders to provide specialist quality management guidance and training.
• Develop policies and procedures to operationalise quality functions.
• Lead lessons-learned programs and document assurance reviews.
• Facilitate change-management activities across policy and processes.
• Lead the Document Control team and collaborate with document library.
