Job summary

Glen Eira City Council in Melbourne is seeking a Team Leader Public Health to guide Environmental Health Officers in delivering high-quality services to the community. Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent and eligibility for Environmental Health Professionals Australia
• Extensive experience in Environmental Health
• Strong technical knowledge for Public Health service provision
• Clear, confident communication and problem-solving abilities
• Victorian Driver's License

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Environmental Health professionals
• Undertake internal audits of Officer inspections and investigations
• Negotiate positive outcomes for difficult complaints and ensure compliance with legislation
• Review Officer legal proceedings and liaise with Council solicitors to ensure proper evidence handling
