Job summary

The Department for Child Protection (DCP) in Adelaide is seeking a Lead Project Officer to create and oversee projects within the Placement Services Unit (PSU). This part-time role (30 hours per week) offers leadership to deliver complex tasks on time and with professional judgment, supporting the DCP Executive and partners across government agencies to strengthen stakeholder engagement.

Our metropolitan Adelaide team is seeking a Lead Project Officer to create and oversee projects within the Placement Services Unit (PSU). Working in a part-time capacity at 30 hours per week, you will provide dedicated leadership to deliver complex tasks in a timely and professional manner. Your expert knowledge will be highly beneficial in assisting DCP Executive and associates across government agencies to sustain robust stakeholder engagement. Immerse yourself in a collaborative role that shapes performance outcomes and organisational goals for the department.

In this role, you will:

  • Oversee the implementation and evaluation of projects to attain quality outcomes for clientele
  • Organise cohesive and detailed reports, memos, letters and briefings within designated timeframes
  • Uphold exemplary customer service when consulting with an array of internal and external stakeholders
  • Enhance staff competence through professional development opportunities and dedicated support
  • Employ innovative and impactful strategies to heighten service wide operations.
